Velma J. (Sumey) Marzano, 89, of O’Fallon, Mo., formerly of Columbia, died May 25, 2014 in O’Fallon, Mo.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. May 28 at Lawlor Funeral Home in Columbia.

Funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. May 29 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
