James Hugh Stuart, 77, of Columbia, died Dec. 29, 2014 in Collinsville.

There will be no funeral service, per Jim’s wishes.

He requested that his organs be donated.

A celebration of his life gathering is being planned for 1 to 5 p.m. Jan. 31, 2015 at Turner Hall in Columbia, with a memorial toast at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited and welcome to share their memories of ‘Big Daddy.’

A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Jan. 9 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Columbia.
