The Monroe County coroner’s office is handling the death of a 41-year-old man found deceased in the bathtub of an apartment at Hawthorne Place on Wednesday afternoon.

Columbia EMS responded after the man was discovered unresponsive and not breathing about 2:10 p.m. Columbia police said the death was health-related, so there is no investigation being conducted on its part.
