David J. Woodall

David J. Woodall, 18, of Waterloo, died Oct. 19, 2016, in St. Louis.

He was born June 11, 1998, in St. Louis, son of Jeff and Dawn Woodall (nee Nobbe).

David was a student at Waterloo High School. He was a member of the Waterloo Bulldogs football team (No. 73), and was in the 1,000 pound club.

He is survived by his parents; brother Spencer Woodall; grandparents Allen and Fronda Nobbe (nee Ostendorf) and Carol Woodall (nee Schade); aunts and uncles Cindy Woodall, Teena Stanek (nee Nobbe), Mindi Nobbe; cousins Dylan (Kayla) Stanek, Laura Jackson, Logan Jackson, Cole Nobbe; many great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins, friends, and faithful companion “Charlie.”

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Spencer “Woody” Woodall.

A memorial visitation is Oct. 22, from 2-5 p.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A memorial service will be Oct. 22, at 5 p.m., at the funeral home, Dylan Stanek officiating.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to the Waterloo Football Booster Club or to the family.
