Police, fire and EMS personnel responded shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday to a crash on Route 3 at Hanover Road north of Waterloo. Northbound traffic was backed up for about a mile as emergency crews tended to the crash.

The vehicles involved in the collision were a maroon Dodge minivan driven by male and a white Acura driven by a female. The woman was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Initial reports indicate she was turning onto Route 3 from Hanover Road when the crash occurred.
