Costello named new WHS principal

Current Waterloo High School assistant principal Lori Costello has been hired to replace Brian Charron as WHS principal starting this fall. The Waterloo School Board approved the hire on Monday night.

Costello succeeds Charron, who will take over as Waterloo school superintendent at the start of the 2014-15 school year. Current superintendent Jim Helton is retiring at the end of June.

Lori is the wife of State Rep. Jerry Costello II (D-Smithton).
