This week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Columbia High School softball team coached by Rhonda Major.

The Eagles have won eight straight games following Tuesday’s win at Red Bud and are currently 14-2 on the season.

Catcher Taryn Pena leads the team in hitting at .561; Brina Rujawitz leads the pitching staff with a record of 11-2 and 2.81 ERA.
