Columbia fire destroys shed on Bluffside

Columbia Fire Department, with assistance from Waterloo, Prairie du Pont and Millstadt fire departments, is on the scene of a fire at 6500 Bluffside Road that was called in at about 1 p.m. Sunday.
With tankers from additional departments providing water, firefighters extinguished the fire before it spread to nearby structures including a barn and house.
No cause of the blaze has been determined yet.
