Clarification on article

In regard to the “Waterloo woodworker celebrates 50 years” article in the Feb. 28 issue of the Republic-Times, Sean Dugan wants it to be made known that the only legal owner and operator of Dugan’s Woodworking at this time is Sean Dugan at 436 N. Library Street in Waterloo.

Sean Dugan is the only single-membered owner registered with the State of Illinois, as can be found at apps.ilsos.gov/businessentitysearch with a search conducted under “business name” with Dugan’s Woodworking LLC.

Further, duganswoodworking.net and 618-719-4797 are the website and phone numbers both funded and operated by Sean Dugan solely for his use for this business.

Sean Dugan also wishes to note he has no affiliation with Joseph Dugan in business, outside of business, nor in the Feb. 28 article, and plans to continue successful operation of the business for years to come.

Lastly, Sean Dugan sends a public apology to the local craftsmen for Joseph Dugan’s commentary in last week’s article expressing “his disappointment that the community might well be without a local craftsmen when he steps away from his tools.”  Sean knows there are many accomplished craftsmen in the area and is honored to work alongside them.
