Clara F. Heller | Obituary

Clara F. Heller (nee Fauss), 97, of Renault, died July 29, 2015, in Red Bud.

She was born Sept. 25, 1917, in Renault, daughter of the late William and Christina Fauss (nee Melching).

She married George J. Heller Oct. 19, 1946, in Renault; he preceded her in death.

Clara was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Renault.

Survivors include her children Donald (Geralyn) Heller of Red Bud, Eugene (Patricia) Heller of Waterloo, and Mary Ann Schrader (John Steibel) of Waterloo; son-in-law Robert Schrader; grandchildren Jared Heller, Kristy (Dave) Baldwin, Stephanie Friz, Jennifer (Will) Toenjes, Ashly (Cory) Miller, and Bradley Schrader; great-grandchildren Sophie and Emmett Heller, Gage and Gavin Baldwin, Nathan and Victoria Friz, Chase, Bryce, Abbie, Ellie and Payton Toenjes, Mickenzie and Trey Jacobs and Rylan Miller; step-grandchildren Jessica, Avery and Nathan; sister Hilda Baker; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers William Fauss, Theodore Fauss, Lee (Alice) Fauss and Raymond Fauss; and sisters Lena (Oliver) Keim, Freida (Walter) Knepper, Emma (Emil) Melching and

Hulda (Herman) Kohlmann; brother-in-law Elmer Baker; and nephews.

Visitation was July 31, at Quernheim Funeral Home; and Aug. 1, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Renault.

A funeral service was Aug. 1, at the church, Rev. Terry Grebing officiating.

Interment followed at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Renault.

As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Renault or Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
