The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Columbia High School varsity cheerleading squad. Columbia won first place in the small division out of 39 teams at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association Championships held Saturday in Springfield. Columbia posted a score of 92.65, which was two points higher than the second place squad. It was Columbia’s second straight ICCA title and the program’s 10th championship.
