Child struck by car on Moore Street

An 11-year-old boy riding his bicycle was struck by a car on North Moore Street outside Fourth Street Bar at about 5:10 p.m. Monday.

He sustained only minor injuries and was up and moving around following the incident.

Monroe County EMS responded to the scene and evaluated the boy. He was not transported for treatment.
