Andrew and Laura Gipson, of Glen Carbon, announce the birth of their son, Charles Thomas Gipson.

He was born March 27, 2013, at 5:15 a.m., at Anderson Hospital, Maryville. He weighed 7 pounds, and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are John and Brenda Shrewsbury.

Paternal grandparents are Charles and Patricia Gipson.

Great-grandparents are Ruby Shrewsbury, Homer Gipson and Hazel Hayman.
