Charles Hardeman Fike, 87,  of Waterloo, died July 5, 2014.

He was born Aug. 22, 1926, son of the late Avery and Zora Fike.

Charles was a World War II veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Fike; children Lisa (Robert) Kingery and Charles Fike; grandchildren Heather, Leah, Jill, CJ, Andy, Chloe, Sophia and Porter; along with sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Gina Richardson.

Visitation took place July 9 at Fey Funeral Home in St. Louis.

Interment followed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
