Injury crash on D Road near Columbia

The Columbia Fire Department responded along with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and Columbia EMS to a two-vehicle crash with injuries at D Road near Steppig Road in Columbia.
The call came in at about 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
The vehicles involved were a 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Ethan Schwartz, 23, of Millstadt, and a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Blake Myers, 16, of Columbia.
Schwartz was transported to Belleville Memorial Hospital and Myers was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, both for treatment of minor injuries.
