Cathleen M. Glessner, 90, of Waterloo, died Dec. 25 in Waterloo.

She was born Oct. 25, 1923, daughter of the late John Louis and Anna (nee Habermehl) Petri.

She was married to Armin J. Glessner; he precedes her in death.

Mrs. Glessner was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo, Mary and Martha Society, Waterloo Chamber of Commerce and was the former owner of Petri Insurance.

Survivors include children John (Sharon) Glessner and Anne Davis; grandchildren Andrew (Andrea) Glessner, Abby (Kyle) Buettner and Vanessa (Matt) Mathews; great-grandchildren Colton, Taylor and Payton; along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation was Dec. 27 and 28 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo.

A funeral Mass took place Dec. 28 at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Waterloo.

Interment followed at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul Church or Gibault Catholic High School.
