There were no injuries reported when a Toyota Avalon driven by a man backed into the window storefront of the H&R Block office at 638 North Market Street in Waterloo shortly after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Waterloo police and fire and Monroe County EMS responded, but officials quickly determined there were no injuries or serious structural damage to the building and the car was able to be driven out on its own power.

Responders assisted in boarding up the broken windows of the store for the night.
