The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia junior bowler Cameron Touchette, who began his quest for a third straight state bowling tournament appearance Saturday by winning the regional with the top overall individual score of 1,336 at Redbird Lanes in Cahokia.

He advanced to the Herrin Sectional, which takes place this Saturday.
