Britan Deterding, R-T Athlete of the Week

The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Gibault Catholic High School basketball player Brian Deterding. The junior is averaging 16 points and seven rebounds per game for the 3-2 Hawks, who travel to Metro East Lutheran on Friday. Deterding scored 19 points in a Dec. 5 home loss to Pinckneyville.
