Bill H. Grigory, 79, of Columbia, died Sept. 24, 2014.

Mr. Grigory was born in Caruthersville, Mo. to the late George W. Grigory and Lillie Grigory, nee Parnell.

He was a member of the US Army and a longtime member of Cherry Road Baptist Church.

Bill is survived by his children, David Todd (Janette) and Tina Mallinckrodt (Dale); three grandchildren, April Williams (Ben), Cole and Connor Mallinckrodt; and two great-grandchildren, Landon and Lukas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kay Bishop; and six brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will take place 12 to 2 p.m. Oct. 4 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home in Memphis, Tenn.

A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Oct. 4 at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Cherry Road Baptist Church in Memphis or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
