Betty A. Williams

Betty  A.  Williams (nee Beucke), 83, of Columbia, died May 24, 2015.

She was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Union, Mo., daughter of the late George and Gertha Beucke (nee McKinney).

Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.

Surviving are her daughters, Terry (Tim) Batson of Louisville, Ky., Toni Fulk of Columbia, and Tammie (Mike) Hamilton of Ft. Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Tim Batson of Lakewood, Colo., Bert (Sara) Fulk of Town and Country, Mo., Andrew Batson of Columbia, Heather (Roni) Chauhan of New Orleans, La., Kelly (Angel) Torres of Dallas, Texas, and Sarah (Jorge) Lopez of Columbia; three great-grandchildren, Jaiden Torres, Harrison Fulk and Ziva Lopez; an “adopted grandson,” Ryan Wikete; and a dear friend and cousin, Norma Jean Hellman. She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, and cousin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Williams; her parents; two sisters, Gladys Hickam and Bessie Arlene; a sister-in-law, Bernie Stubblefield; and a nephew, Dale Stubblefield.

Visitation is May 27, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia; and May 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.,  at Oltman Funeral Home in Union, Mo.

Funeral services will be held  May 28, at 10 a.m., at  Braun Family Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held May 28, at 3 p.m., at  Union City Cemetery, Union, Mo.
