Molly Beard and Nathan Krebel of Waterloo have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Mary Beard of Waterloo. She is a 2007 Waterloo High School graduate and obtained her bachelor’s degree from Goldfarb School of Nursing and Barnes-Jewish College. She is employed as a charge nurse at Red Bud Regional Care Center.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Arthur and Beverly Krebel of Waterloo. He is a 2000 graduate of Gibault Catholic High School and attended Southwestern Illinois College. He is employed as a carpenter with D & A Builders.

The couple are planning a Jan. 11, 2014, wedding.
