Red Bud, Baldwin and Hecker firefighters responded to a barn fire at 5707 Griggs Road around 9 p.m. Thursday. The fire occurred on a dairy farm owned by Don Guebert. An exact cause of the fire is not yet known at this time. No livestock or people were injured in the fire. The barn was a total loss, as was a tractor, two trailers and all of the hay and straw in the barn. (North County News photo)
