Barn fire near East Carondelet

The Columbia, Dupo and Prairie du Pont fire departments responded shortly before 10 a.m. Saturday to a barn fire at 7935 Bohnemeier Church Road off Imbs Station Road north of Columbia in rural St. Clair County.

The small fire was mostly contained upon firefighter arrival, per emergency radio dispatch reports.
