Barbara F. Huetsch, nee Skirtish, 95, of Columbia, died Feb. 23, 2015 in Columbia.

She was born Aug. 15, 1919 in Farmington, W. Va.

Barbara was a member of the Senior Citizens Center in Columbia, and the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, formerly, Future Homemakers of America. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed solitaire, bingo, and cooking. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her four children, Larry C. (Donna) Huetsch, of Rockford, Diana S. (David) Mosbacher, of Evansville, Ind., Leonard M. Huetsch, of New Athens, and Doreen D. ( James Suess) Albers, of Columbia; her eight grandchildren, Stephanie (John Engelbrecht) Mosbacher, Larry (Kelly) Huetsch, Dr. Matthew (Theresa Milan) Mosbacher, Kimberly (Aaron) Goodrich, Joshua Huetsch, Ens. Bradley (Rachel) Albers, Petty Officer 1st Class, Michael Huetsch, Sgt. Nicholas (Brittany) Huetsch; her nine great-grandchildren, Sebastian and Xander Huetsch, Carter and Connor Goodrich, Corrin, Charlise, and Carson Albers, Jack Milan, and Aubrey Huetsch.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Huetsch; her parents, Michael and Cecilia Skirtish, nee Kosnic; a brother, Marco Skirtish; her sister, Anna Herczyk; and a daughter-in-law, Theresa Huetsch.

Visitation will take place fron 9 to 11 a.m. March 21 at Lake View Funeral Home in Fairview Heights.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. March 21 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights.
