Anhydrous leak near Prairie du Rocher

The Prairie du Rocher Fire Department was requested to assist the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office about 6:35 p.m. Sunday with a hazmat situation following the report of an anhydrous ammonia tank leaking along the roadway on Bluff Road about one mile east of Modoc.

Per 911 dispatch , a motorist observed a vapor coming from a tank that was stationed along the roadway in that area.
