The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the American Softball Association Illinois All-Star Team, which featured players from Waterloo, Columbia and Red Bud high schools. The team faced off against the Missouri All-Stars in a game played last Wednesday at Saint Louis University. Missouri defeated Illinois, 8-5.

Members of the ASA Illinois All-Stars included Kasey Bradley, Kylie Albrecht, Emelia Modglin and Kaitlyn Storm of Waterloo, Rachel Garcia, Taryn Pena and Caitlyn Touchette of Columbia, and Meghan Mollett and Madison Schmitz of Red Bud. A junior team of all-stars also played, which featured Dupo’s Rachael Donald and Alyssa Strubberg.
