The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School bowler Adam Griest. The senior placed 41st overall at the IHSA state meet in O’Fallon over the weekend. Griest, pictured at center, bowled a total of 2,470 after 12 games, which was a per game average of 205.8. His high game at state was a 235.
