The Republic-Times Team of the Week is the Valmeyer Lakers of the Mon-Clair League. The Lakers placed third in the Valmeyer Midsummer Classic over the July 4 holiday and have a 9-3 regular season record for tops in the Monroe Division entering play this weekend. Valmeyer had nine players named to this year’s Mon-Clair League All-Star Game roster.
