The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia High School baseball standout Matt Howard. The recent graduate enjoyed an amazing senior season for the Eagles, leading the team in hitting at .478, on base percentage at .535, RBIs at 28 and doubles at 14 while playing solid at the catcher position.
