Police were notified of a motorcycle driving recklessly at speeds about 100 miles per hour on Route 3 southbound at the southern end of Columbia about 3:25 p.m. Wednesday.

The description was a motorcycle with Illinois plates and a driver wearing black pants, a blue shirt and a black helmet with an Army-colored backpack.

The cycle was later believed to have been seen in Waterloo.
