Amy L. Hicks and Anthony J. Stirnaman were married Oct. 20, 2012, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo.
The bride is the daughter of Steven and Dana Hicks of Waterloo and the granddaughter of Patricia Harris of Maeystown. She is employed by Fox C-6 as a second grade teacher. The groom is the son of David and Patti Stirnaman of Waterloo and the grandson of Doris Kloepper of Red Bud. He is employed by George Weber Chevrolet as an automotive technician.
The maids of honor were Ashley Hoffeditz and Kristin Hicks. Bridesmaids were Sarah Heck, Andrea Glessner, Lauren Niebruegge, Karen Rippelmeyer and Krissi Stirnaman. Emily Washausen was the junior bridesmaid, and Anna Washausen was the miniature bride. Greta Stirnaman, Willa Stirnaman, and Harper Rippelmeyer were the flower girls.
The best man was Mark Stirnaman. Groomsmen were Andrew Glessner, Garret Fischer, Jeff Davis, Dan Niebruegge, TJ Rippelmeyer and Justin Riebeling. Drew, Owen, and Evan Niebruegge were the ring bearers.
Dinner and dancing followed at the American Legion in Columbia.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They reside in Waterloo.

Tammy Taylor

Tammy is an award-winning Graphic Artist for the Republic-Times. She has worked at the newspaper for almost 15 years, while her and her husband Norman, of 34 years, are owners of Sunderman's Garage in Columbia. She enjoys photography and her five grandchildren.
