Brush fire west of Waterloo

Republic-Times- April 3, 2021

The Waterloo Fire Department responded shortly before 5:15 p.m. Saturday for the report of a brush fire at 3702 State Route 156 west of Waterloo.

Waterloo’s brush truck responded to the scene and was the only truck needed.

The National Weather Service in St. Louis cautioned against outdoor burning on Saturday due to gusty winds, low humidity and dry ground.
