The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Waterloo High School tennis player Teagan Nodorft. The sophomore became Waterloo’s first female Mississippi Valley Conference tennis champion in several years after winning three matches at the conference singles meet Saturday at Triad. In the No. 3 singles flight, Nodorft (13-7) defeated Jessica Schillinger of Civic Memorial, Gracie Markland of Triad and Sabrina Ingram of Jerseyville.
