The City of Waterloo reminds residents that as they are raking leaves this fall not to blow them into the street. It can result in drainage issues and clog the sewer system. The best option for disposal of leaves is to mulch them with a mower, or bag them up and dispose of them at the City Yard Waste Site at Lakeview Park. Also, take advantage of LifeChurchX’s leaf pickup on Dec. 7. Just call City Hall (939-8600) to get on the list and they will come pick up your bagged leaves.
