Kathryn Thielemann

Kathryn Marie Thielemann (nee Fletcher), 58, of Millstadt, died Dec. 2, 2012, in Millstadt.

She was born Feb. 12, 1954, in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Charles Elwood and Gail Patricia Fletcher (nee Kinsey).

She married Jeffrey Thielemann on June 3, 1987, in Fairfax County, Va.

Mrs. Thielemann was a member of the Military Wives Sponsorship Program and American Cancer Society, a Special Olympics volunteer, and head elf at Santa’s Workshop.

Survivors include her husband; children Sharon (Walter) Alvarado of Wilkes-Barre, N.C., Richard Vaughan of Millstadt, Jeffrey Thielemann of Gonzales, Texas, and Andrew Garcia of Socorro, Texas; grandchildren Melissa Alvarado, Kevin Alvarado, Walter Alvarado Jr., and Yahir Alvarado, all of Wilkes-Barre, N.C.; great-granddaughter Niece Alvarado of Wilkes-Barre, N.C.; sisters and brothers Patricia Wolf of Atlanta, Ga., Robert Fletcher of Peoria, Ariz., James “Bubba” Winfield of Oldsman, Fla., and Gail Winfield of Mechanicsville, Md.; and best friends Tera Rogers and Tina Snook; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son James Thielemann.

Arrangements were handled by Creason Funeral Home, Millstadt.

Visitation and funeral services were Dec. 9, at Scottish Rite Bodies, Chaplain Kenneth Johnson officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
