Bonnie L. Roy (nee Schaffhauser), 59, of Waterloo, died Dec. 8, 2012, in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

She was born July 20, 1953, in East St. Louis, daughter of Mary A. Schaffhauser and the late Robert “Schaff” L. Schaffhauser.

She was a member of Waterloo Country Club and the Waterloo Ladies Golf League.

Survivors include her mother; husband, Norman L. Roy; son, Ryan Lucy; stepchildren Jennifer, Suzanne and Brad; special grandson, Cooper; sister Judy (Harold) Reddish; and nephew Robbie Schorr; along with aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 13, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 14, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

Funeral services are Dec. 14, at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Pastor William Graves officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Red Bud.
