George Portz and the Friends of Bluegrass will perform in a creekside concert in downtown Maeystown on Sept. 7 from 5-7:30 p.m. The concert is free to the public but donations will be accepted to help defray expenses.  Audience members should bring their own lawn chairs.  Food will be available at Hank and Lilly’s Creekside Bar and Grill. The concert is sponsored by Historic Maeystown. George Portz and The Friends of Bluegrass are known throughout the midwest for their blend of bluegrass, country,  gospel and cajun music. Several young local fiddlers and cloggers will also be performing.
