Emergency personnel responded to a crash involving a car and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on North Market Street in front of Rural King in Waterloo about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

ARCH Air Medical Services transported the driver of the motorcycle, 65-year-old Donald Willyard of Waterloo, by helicopter to Saint Louis University Hospital for treatment of a major leg injury as well as a head injury.

Waterloo police said the motorcycle was traveling north when it was struck by a Honda Civic driven by 54-year-old Christopher McNealy of Waterloo, which was exiting from the Rural King parking lot onto Market Street.

McNealy was cited for failure to yield, police said.
