The Waterloo police and fire departments, along with Monroe County EMS, responded at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday to a two-vehicle crash at Route 3 and Country Club Lane next to the U-Gas.

Police said a 2005 Saturn driven by Kyra Harriss, 17, of Columbia, was traveling north on Route 3 and struck a 2003 Toyota Sequoia driven by Kelly Schilling, 49, of Waterloo, which was traveling east in the intersection from HH Road to Country Club Lane. The Sequoia overturned upon impact.

Schilling and a child passenger were both transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
