Shattered glass and missing fender at Route 3 accident

Columbia Police responded to a multiple-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. Monday which resulted in a fender breaking off of one of the vehicles and shattered glass being strewn about on the street at Route 3 southbound at Veterans Parkway.

Police blocked the right lane to divert traffic from the broken glass. It is unknown whether the crash resulted in any injuries.

EMS and fire were not at the scene at the time police arrived.
