The Republic-Times Athlete of the Week is Columbia High School volleyball player Colene Hamilton.

The senior outside hitter leads the team with 213 kills this season, including 48 kills in five matches during the Metro Classic tournament in Belleville over the weekend.

She was named tourney MVP and the Eagles won the title to improve to 24-0 on the season.
