Columbia Police
Sept. 13 – Kaytlynn N. Brooks, 23, of Collinsville, was arrested on Admiral Parkway at Southwoods Drive for driving on a suspended license.
Sept. 13 – Salvatore K. Briguglio, 31, of Millstadt, was arrested at the police station on a Monroe County warrant for failure to appear on speeding charges.
Sept. 13 – Robert Jay Johnson, 33, of Waterloo, Iowa, was arrested at 301 Southport Drive for driving on a suspended license.
Sept. 15 – Jason G. Pinales, 32, of Cahokia, was arrested on Palmer Road at Route 3 for an in-state warrant.
Sept. 18 – Matthew Banker, 57, of Waterloo, was arrested at the Hawthorne Place apartments for DUI and failure to dim headlights.
Monroe County Sheriff
Sept. 12 – A report of criminal damage to a yard by a vehicle on D Road is under investigation.
Sept. 12 – Marshall S. Chester, 19, of Collinsville, was arrested on a Monroe County warrant.
Sept. 13 – A report of a pit bull attacking another dog on Woodson Drive is under investigation.
Sept. 14 – Gunner H. Cradic, 22, was arrested at Bluff Road and Steppig Road on a Monroe County warrant for failure to appear.
Sept. 14 – Chris C. Sager, 30, of Waterloo, was arrested for illegal transportation of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with failure to notify police following a crash on Bluff Road north of KK Road.
Sept. 14 – A report of the possible fraudulent use of a credit card by a person on Maeystown Road is under investigation.
Sept. 14 – Dennis L. Amburn, 32, of Red Bud, was arrested on Nike Road for DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving while license revoked.
Sept. 16 – Jerry J. Thomas, 38, of Missouri, was arrested on Bluff Road at Trout Hollow Road on a St. Louis warrant following a morning crash.
Sept. 17 – A 2016 Kia Rio driven by Chelsea M. Maloney, 24, of Valmeyer, was traveling on Bluff Road at Fountain Road when she drove off the west side of the road and struck four road signs. Maloney, who was not inuured, was cited for no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
Waterloo Police
Sept. 13 – Police are investigating a theft from Walmart in which a black male with dreadlocks wearing a purple shirt took several packages of disposable razors with a value of $180 and fled the scene in a grey Ford Taurus with temporary tags. A police pursuit proceeded north on Route 3 into Columbia then west onto I-255, where the suspect fled into Missouri and remains at large. Columbia officers terminated their pursuit due to speeds that exceeded 100 miles per hour in the suspect’s vehicle. Waterloo and Monroe County law enforcement assisted.
Sept. 17 – Steve Ballard, 55, of Waterloo, was issued a city ordinance violation at 413 Steining Street for unlawful burning outside of approved hours (furniture).
Sept. 19 – Wendy Zajac, 47, of Troy, was issued a city ordinance violation for begging and yelling at patrons outside of Circle K, 209 S. Market Street.
