Wednesday morning crash on Route 3 at Hill Castle

Columbia Fire Department and Columbia police officers and Monroe County EMS responded Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. to southbound Route 3 at Hill Castle Lane south of Columbia for a vehicle rollover.

Police said Garrett Rueter of Shiloh was driving his gray 2006 Saturn car when it rolled over into the ditch. Rueter, who was not injured, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
