John E. White III
He was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Peoria, son of the late John E. and Mary E. White (nee Palus).
John retired from Southwestern Correction Center. He was a mason, graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School Class of 1965, and graduated from Northwestern University.
He is survived by his sister Leliah (John) Baxter of Fults; half-sister Linda Sue (nee White) of California; half brother Michael Dale White of California; and an uncle, nephews, special friends Jim and Maxine Tourville, grand niece, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Lela White.
A private family service will be held.
