The Waterloo Fire Department responded to a semi-truck accident about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on Route 3 near KK Road just south of Waterloo. The truck was on its side and there was road blockage. No serious injuries were reported.

The Farm Fresh truck was hauling bottles of milk, which had to be completely unloaded before a tow truck could haul it away from the scene. Lane closures were encountered for couple of hours. The roadway was completely opened back up shortly after 11 a.m.

The truck appeared to have veered off the right side of the roadway before over-correcting and then it jack-knifed.
