Craig M. Range

Craig M.  Range, 42, of Waterloo, died Feb. 19, 2016, in Red Bud.

He was born Dec. 3, 1973, in Red Bud.

Craig was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was employed at the Illinois Department of Transportation and was a member of Waterloo Country Club.

Craig Michael was a virtuous man. He was the kind of man who gave more and asked less. He will be remembered for his strong love of his wife, children, family and friends.

Craig was blessed with a strong Catholic faith and spent many wonderful years surrounded by his extended SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church family.

Craig could usually be found at one of the local Waterloo golf courses alongside his son Sam or at home with Jack, Ella and Lucy participating in some outdoor activity.

The day Craig left this Earth will forever leave a hole in our hearts. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.
He is survived by his wife Aimee Range (nee Mueth); children Sam, Jack, Ella and Lucy Range; mother Linda Range; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dale and Judy Mueth; brother and sisters Rick (Chrisy) Range and Jennifer (Marc) Hoffmann; grandfather Gilbert (Judy) Litteken; godparents Mark (Karen) Range, and Beth (Dan) McConnell; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Sarah (Eric) Beck, Nic (Sarah) Mueth, and Josh (Nicole) Mueth; nieces and nephews Rochelle, Brandon, Derrick, Olivia, Alyssa, Joseph, Chandler, James, and Ethan, and Anna, Max, Mirabella, Marcia, Ellie, Stella, and Clara; and aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bruce A. Range; paternal grandparents Virgil and Norma Range; and maternal grandmother Betty Litteken.

Visitation was Feb. 21, from 2 to 8 p.m., and Feb. 22, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Feb. 22, at 10 a.m., at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Waterloo, Father Osang Idagbo C.M. officiating.

Interment followed at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo.
