The Gibault Catholic High School boys basketball team coached by Dennis Rueter is this week’s Republic-Times Team of the Week. The Hawks are 15-7 on the season following a second place showing in the recent Okawville Invitational Tournament.

Gibault defeated Vandalia, Wesclin and Madison before falling to Okawville in the championship game of the tourney on Saturday. The Hawks will face Woodlawn in the Panther Basketball Showcase this Saturday at 7 p.m. in Pinckneyville.
