Hecker Fire Department and Monroe County Sheriffs Department personnel responded with Ameren to a single-vehicle crash with power lines down on West Monroe Street near Route 159 in Hecker about 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said a gold 2002 Chevrolet Impala driven by a woman swerved off the roadway and struck a power pole after she suffered some sort of medical situation. The woman was not seriously injured in the crash.
