Amanda Heiken and Justin Nason of Waterloo announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lisa Heiken of Red Bud. She is a 2004 graduate of Gibault Catholic High School and a graduate of Kendall College in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a teacher at Lighthouse Learning Center, Waterloo.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Steve and Donna Nason of Waterloo. He is a 2001 graduate of Waterloo High School and a graduate of Southeastern Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is employed as the financial controller at Henderson Trucking, Caseyville.

The couple are planning a May 7, 2016, wedding.
